WHO AM I?
In 2009, I made a life changing decision to go back to school for an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree, majoring in English. I wasn't aware of how drastic a life change I was making until August 2014. It was at this point I made the decision to move to South Korea and teach English. It was the best and most rewarding decision I have made for both my professional career and my personal development.
I have had the opportunity to travel the world. Over the years I have been to many States in the United States of America, I have been coast to coast in Canada and I will soon adventure to Mexico in 2018. I was able to accompany a friend to Peru in 2006 and in 2014 my husband and I traveled to South Korea! We lived and traveled around South Korea for 2 years. While in Asia we also went to China, Japan, the Philippines and Australia.
All these experiences have made me far more open minded and curious. I love hearing the opinions, perspectives and beliefs of people from around the world. This is how I learned I wanted to work at an international level.
I still can't believe I am able to do what I love; I can watch my students succeed and unlock their own potential everyday.
